If it’s been a while, or if you have dental anxiety, here’s exactly what happens when you come in.
New patients call 289-768-8773. We open at 8 am Monday through Friday, with Tuesday evenings until 7 pm. Tell us any concerns upfront and we'll note them for your appointment.
You'll meet the team, get digital X-rays, and a gentle checkup where every step is explained as we go. No surprises, no rushing. Anxious patients are particularly welcome.
Dr. Ho reviews what she found in plain language and lays out your options with costs. No pressure to commit to anything same-day. We direct-bill your insurance.
About the practice
Dentistry on Parkdale is a welcoming, women-owned dental practice in east Hamilton, led by Dr. Karen Ho, DDS, a University of Toronto graduate in practice since 2003. What patients mention again and again is the time the whole team takes to explain everything, gently and without judgment, which makes a real difference if you've ever felt anxious at the dentist. The office offers early morning hours from 8 am, direct-bills insurance, and is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly.

A University of Toronto dentistry graduate (and BSc with distinction from McMaster, 1998), Dr. Ho has been caring for Hamilton families since 2003. She's known for taking the time to explain every step and for specialized training in tongue and lip tie frenectomy from Boston University and Tufts.
